Question
could you please answer me why chess is in sports and why we call chess sport??? i wanna logical answer.thank you very much

Answer
I do not myself consider chess to be a sport.  It's listed under "sports" in the World Almanac probably because it fits better there than anywhere else.

Television news does not usually talk about chess (on those very rare occasions when they do talk about chess)
during the sportscast.  Newspapers do not have their chess columns on the sports page.

Chess is a great board game and a (trivial) science, but I don't know why some people want to call it a sport.  To get it into the Summer Olympics, perhaps?
