Chevrolet/1990 Cavalier Z24 Starting Problem

Question
Hello,

My 1990 Cavalier Z24 has a starting problem.  It turns over quite well, and the battery seems good.. But it wont actually start.

A boost did not correct the problem.

It is pretty cold here, but i don't think that that is the issue.

Do you have any suggestions?

Thanks & Happy New Year!!

Greg.

Answer
You should check to see if your getting spark by removing a plug wire then cranking it over. Also,, make sure your fuel pump is running, and your getting fuel. If the weather is really cold you could either plug the vehicle in or use a space heater to warm the engine.. Just be careful that the space heater doesnt touch any wires,, ect ect.. Ty

I can answer most questions on repairs, but dont have any answers for you on body repair. I can give you a diagnostic problem with the vehicle, but with todays vehicles, and all the sensors, most of them have to be hooked up to a diagnostic computer.
