i have 2 questions.
1. when i initially start out in my car on the way to work, it rides fine. after about 15 to 20 minutes, it starts to make this horrible whining sound.  that sound dies down, and then every time i accelerate it makes the very loud whining sound again, and when i level out the speed the noise goes away. my kids are now embarrassed to ride with me, so please help.

2. i followed the installation instructions for my car stereo, but it still won't come on.  would the instructions be different for my corsica?

 HI  well it could be a lot of things, I hope that it is just the fan belt as that will make noise or so will a bearing    , so you should have  it looked at before you get stuck and have to be towed away. That will cost $$...>>
The stereo  , did you hook it up ? how is the fuse , if blown it will not come on at all.
