How do you replace the water pump in a 1994 Chevy Caprice Classic? Thanks.

Well you take out the coolent , than the schrowd, than remove the fan and the belt and when you remove the belt it must go back the same way it came off or you will not get it going as the timeing will be messed up and than you have a big mess. than you remove the fan and pulley and any brackets in the way and last remove the pump and scrape off the old gasket . If you go to the library they should have some tech books that show you step by step with photos in it.

All i can remember growing up is working on cars and making them loud and fast , and when i started to make money i would sink all of it into my cars so i could get them to go faster and look great. what else is there !I would love a challange to trouble shoot, as it is fun finding what is wrong when all others can not .ON the older cars not past 1975s , etc. so please I will try to help with the newer cars but do not grade me bad if I can not help your 2006 car.etc.
