I have a 99 camaro 5 speed and i have the problem that when in gear i can not tach over 2500 and does not gain speed very well. When in out of gear it tachs fine. could use help

Answer
Either your fuel filter is clogged or fuel pump is dying. Could also be a clogged catalytic converter.

If it was a clogged cat your manifolds would glow red when you were driving.

Change the filter first and if that doesn't work, check your fuel psi. The pump might be dying.
