Question
My cars instrument cluster goes crazy the gages read fine then go off line...then come back on, we replaced the instrument cluster and still doing it. The tool, check engine  light tracking and security comes on. The car runs fine when doing this. Took to auto zone to do a free diagnostic check and only a o2 senor needed. Don't know what to check next

 HI- well I would have to say that something is not hooked up properly. or you have a bad ground or short. if the obd11 only showes the 02 sensor than you have some wires screwed up. if it were me I would try to hook up each gauge one by one- so this way you will know that the gauge thats hooked up is working fine, than go on to the next one. P.S. where did you get the cluster dash from any ways- from a junk yard ? if yes than it might be no good. but do it like I said- try it one guage at a time, so if you get the one guage to work than go to the next one. ok. with out any directions you have to do it the best way that you can  ok
