Question
I have a 1990 Chevy 3/4 ton 4/4 with a 350 with electronic ignition.  What is the proper proceedure to set the timing on it.

Answer
Hi Tom, first you need a timing light, then loosen the hold-down bolt under the distributor, there should be a sticker under the hood that tells you how many degrees to set the timing, aim the timing light towards the crank pulley on the front of the engine and with the engine running turn the distributor until the specified degrees line up on the pulley. I hope this helps you if you need more info just me know. Regards, Keith.
