92 corvette LT1 no modifications When I run on the highway and it's 85 air temp the water temp is 195-201 degrees Slow driving in town it goes up to 245 degrees. Is this normal or is something wrong?

Make sure that the fan is working. It should turn on around 229 degrees. The Corvettes always seam to run a little hotter than everything else because of the poorly designed front end. It restricts the air flow across the radiator. It should still only run around 220-230.

Comment	It turned out that there were several problems including faulty ignition module, bad oxygen sensor, and even a chafed wire causing an intermittent short. I would say Harold was very helpful trying to diagnose a difficult problem without much information. I feel he did an excellent job in steering me in the right direction to get this car repaired. He was also correct about there being no problem getting parts for the car. I would like to thank Harold very much and I would not hesitate to use his services again. Thanks very much Ed
