Question
I have replaced the lower intake manifold gasket.  Trying to find 0 degrees on the crank.  there are 2 marks on the crank i am assuming one is BTDC and one is ATDC.  Were is 0.  And does the computer have to go through any kind of relearn procedure? Timing is not adjustable, but I need to get every thing in sync.  I have TDC one number one.  HELP ME...Thanks

Answer
Rusty;
Hi; well if you took out the distributor, you will have to  set up the  motor. but if you never turned the engine over it should be fine, if you took off the drive belt it must go on in the same way you took it off ,  if the engine was turned at all, than yes you will have to re-set (pulleys) it and all pullies.0 is  on tdc.  I think the computer will not have  to be touched but . if you go to the library the tech books there will show you step by step  ok

Experience

All i can remember growing up is working on cars and making them loud and fast , and when i started to make money i would sink all of it into my cars so i could get them to go faster and look great. what else is there !I would love a challange to trouble shoot, as it is fun finding what is wrong when all others can not .ON the older cars not past 1975s , etc. so please I will try to help with the newer cars but do not grade me bad if I can not help your 2006 car.etc.
