Question
I have a 1995 Chevy Lumina Sedan. When I step on the brakes my brake lights are not coming on. We checked the fuse and it is ok. How do I check to see if the bulbs are out or if the wiring is bad. I can not find the brake light bulbs on the rear of the car. Please help

Answer
HI;
   Yvonne, If you have no brake lights are you shure that the fuse is good?. or did you try a new one , also all you
should have to do is open the trunk and on most cars the back carpet or the panel that is covering the light area will lift up or over so you can get at the bulbs , but be carefull all you have to do is turn them a bit to get them out and use the same type bulb. if this still dosent work it could be the brake light switch. if you had a test light you could see if any juice is comming out of the brake light switch . but try a new fuse first , than the bulbs.
good luck

PS UP TO 1975 !! !!!!!!!!!!! I will try with any others after that date. state up to 1975 but I still get 2006-007 etc. I guess you do not read this far ! !

Experience

All i can remember growing up is working on cars and making them loud and fast , and when i started to make money i would sink all of it into my cars so i could get them to go faster and look great. what else is there !I would love a challange to trouble shoot, as it is fun finding what is wrong when all others can not .ON the older cars not past 1975s , etc. so please I will try to help with the newer cars but do not grade me bad if I can not help your 2006 car.etc.
