Is it easy/possible to have a 6 litre installed in a 2001 Tahoe? Vehicle currently has the 5.3 litre
Absolutely.
The engine is externally identical. Just the internals are different. You would also need to either swap in a PCM from a 6.0L V8 or have yours reprogrammed. www.pcmforless.com or www.madz28.com can reprogram your PCM for you to run the 6.0L.
