i have a 1979 camaro, with a fresh 350, mildly hot cam, flow tech headers into dual 40 series flowmasters. It also has an edelbrock RPM air gap manifold. The engine runs really well but i'm thinking that the 600 cfm carb just isnt enough. Would bumping to a 700 or a 750 be too much for that motor? Whats better, double pumper, or vacuum secondaries? any info would be appreciated. Thanks

  Hea i like that, yea I think you should go with a 700 double pumper as if it was   a bit to much you can always go down in the jets size. If you do have a 600 on it now, before you get a 700 try to squater the jets go up  in sizes example if it has 60 s in it go 68 r/f 72lf l/r 72r/r do you get it. try this if you can if not get the 700 as it should be fine.I had a 750 dbl.ppr on a reg 350 and it ran ok but it would bog out when I would get on it.

I can help you with most standard type things from 1955 chevys up to around 1975 (1975)>> chevys in differnt areas. engine work heads-cams-trannys-drive train-brakes-some elect. dos and donts. PS UP TO 1975 !! !!!!!!!!!!! I will try with any others after that date. state up to 1975 but I still get 2006-007 etc. I guess you do not read this far ! !

All i can remember growing up is working on cars and making them loud and fast , and when i started to make money i would sink all of it into my cars so i could get them to go faster and look great. what else is there !I would love a challange to trouble shoot, as it is fun finding what is wrong when all others can not .ON the older cars not past 1975s , etc. so please I will try to help with the newer cars but do not grade me bad if I can not help your 2006 car.etc.
