Question
I have a 1999 Chevy Blazer LS, it has just started making noise like the transmission is winding out when you go over 20mph. The rpm's look fine and the tranny shifts smoothly. Any idea what the noise is??

Answer
Rhonda-
Hi- well first off- how many miles on it, and did you check the A.T.F. to see what fluid you have left if any.? if the fluid looks dirty brown, change the filter and all of the tranny oil.-convertor too. now when emptyhtake a can of spray starying fliud and spray the hell out of the inside of the tranny and valve budy, it will dry celean and hurt nothing so it will get any and all junk offn now re-place the screen and the new tranny gasket with some spray on gasket stick on gook than hold the pan up and start a few screws  to hold the pan up-than get them all in and tighten them all up snug than add the A.T.F. trany fluid to fill it up as it could take a lot of cans like 6 or more keep checking too much is no good.if you still have trouble than you need tranny work.but this will run you under 25.00.

PS UP TO 1975 !! !!!!!!!!!!! I will try with any others after that date. state up to 1975 but I still get 2006-007 etc. I guess you do not read this far ! !

Experience

All i can remember growing up is working on cars and making them loud and fast , and when i started to make money i would sink all of it into my cars so i could get them to go faster and look great. what else is there !I would love a challange to trouble shoot, as it is fun finding what is wrong when all others can not .ON the older cars not past 1975s , etc. so please I will try to help with the newer cars but do not grade me bad if I can not help your 2006 car.etc.
