WEll I know I have a Geo Prizm 1993 the engine size i dont know but the question i have to ask is.  when i start of up my car it starts up but is put putting and then it shuts off.  after that as long as i keep my foot on the pedal it'll stay on. what's wrong?

Could be a lot of things causing your problem. It could be as simple as worn spark plugs or any other ignition part. Or it could be something in the fuel system. Your best bet would be to take it to the shop and have it looked at.
Sorry I cant give you more, but without knowing exactly what is going on, I cant really give you a cause.
