Question
I have a Chevrolet Lumina 98" and the switch on the right side in the front door is not working.  where or how can I fix it... I open the switch and I pretty sure it need to be replace; but how can I be sure of it?  In the dealer charge me too much just to look at it... and I don't have money to pay.  I could buy the part and install it myself... could you help me? how can I be sure is the switch?  I check the fuses and with the switch on the driver side it works; but not the swith on the door.

thank you,
Loren

Answer
Hi Loren, you said it works from the other side, that tells you that the motor and fuses are fine. The switch and the wires to the switch are all thats left. You can go to the dealer and they will give you a photo copy of the wiring diagram for the power windows, Check for a broken wire or bad connection(if its a broken wire its probely where the wires come from the body to the door where they bend each time the door is opened). But its most likly to be the switch. I hope this helps you , if you need more info just let me know. Regards, Keith.
