Question
I have a 1999 Monte Carlo and this morning I tried to start it, and it made a pop and i beieve it was under the hood and now I have NO electrical power at all. No lights, accessories, it is more than likely a relay or fuse. But where to start the search. Is there a main relay, or is it a fuse?   thanks  Bill

Answer
Hi bill, there is a main fuse its under the hood on the left side but first you have to find out why it blew, there must be a short somewhere, that model and luminas had a problem with the power distribution box(where the fuses are) corroding from underneath, remove it turn it over and you will see if thats the problem
