Chevrolet/Service Engline Soon light

Hi! I have a 1995 Chevy Lumina Minivan. The "service engine soon" light came on a few times, while driving on the highway. As soon as or, each time I'd shut the ignition off and turn it back on again the light would be off and I won't see it on again for a while. I already had it checked with the computer twice and could not find anything wrong with it. I have not seen the light on for a week or so. Is there really anything wrong with the minivan or just a sensor glitch? Otherwise, it runs fine.

I have the same thing going on with my 99 silverado , on than / off - it is telling you that soon there will be something that will need to be replaced , -when one of the computors sensors run a bit off the norm.from dirt or fouled up- it causes the light to come on,
, but as long as it is running good , like my truck it will be ok. when it (stays on) than you will have to have it checked .I bet it is a sensor. ok

I can help you with most standard type things from 1955 chevys up to around 1975 (1975)>> chevys in differnt areas. engine work heads-cams-trannys-drive train-brakes-some elect. dos and donts. PS UP TO 1975 !! !!!!!!!!!!! I will try with any others after that date. state up to 1975 but I still get 2006-007 etc. I guess you do not read this far ! !

All i can remember growing up is working on cars and making them loud and fast , and when i started to make money i would sink all of it into my cars so i could get them to go faster and look great. what else is there !I would love a challange to trouble shoot, as it is fun finding what is wrong when all others can not .ON the older cars not past 1975s , etc. so please I will try to help with the newer cars but do not grade me bad if I can not help your 2006 car.etc.
