Question
Recently in my 1996 Chevy S10, the service engine soon light came on. The car I had before the S10 the light would stay on because of a computer problem. Anyway is this something I need to worry about, or is it just a sensor or something minor?

Answer
Hi Matt, it is most likely to be a sensor, but without plugging it in to a code reader it is impossible to know for sure what the problem is. If you knew what code was stored in the computer the you would know the severity of the problem and then decide if you want to fix it or not. I hope this helps you, if you need more info just let me know. Regards, Keith.
