Question
I just had my transmission rebuilt and they told me I still need to have a vacuum kit replaced. If I get it up to 60 on the highway it starts to shutter... they said it's becuase I'm causing the air going in and out to be all confused so I need to have the vaccuum kit replaced.. is that something that sounds familiar to you? I have a 95 chevy corsica by the way..with 128445 miles
Thanks,
Pilar

Answer
Hi Pilar, i have never heard of that problem, it sounds to me like your being taken for a ride, get another mechanic to take it for a test drive and get his opinion. It sounds to me like it is slipping in high gear (but i cannot test drive it from here) then take it back and tell them you put your car in to get fixed and its still not fixed. I hope this helps you if you need more info just let me know. Regards, Keith.
