Question
Roger:
I have a 97 cavalier.  The other day the wipers froze and the switch was on when I started the car.  Now, everything works fine [pulse, fast slow] except when I turn off the wipers they park in a vertical position.  How can I fix this?

HI  ok well what you will have to  do is re-set the linkage / arms- you can lift the arm back and I would place a car mat on the window , because if the wiper arm slips when you have it back it could hit and crack the glass, so what you will do is pull the atm back and with a large screw driver or a tool that is for the job you pry the arm up and it will come right off, than you  take the are and hold the end back and over the arm stud sticking out from the hood and line it up to the way you want it to lay flat whan off than just push it on and tap it down into place than do the same with the other side I just say to cover the glass just in the event the arm ever sliped out of your hand it can crack the glass so be safe not sorry ok good luck. the arm and mount are buth sloted so its easy

Experience

All i can remember growing up is working on cars and making them loud and fast , and when i started to make money i would sink all of it into my cars so i could get them to go faster and look great. what else is there !I would love a challange to trouble shoot, as it is fun finding what is wrong when all others can not .ON the older cars not past 1975s , etc. so please I will try to help with the newer cars but do not grade me bad if I can not help your 2006 car.etc.
