Question
I have a 1985 corvette-needs freon-I don't want to retrofit to use 134-
what do you recommend-- ?

Answer
Hi Ken, there is a subsitute for r12, im not sure of the correct number on it, ??404? something like that. We dont use it because it is expensive. It is just as cheap to refit your car for 134a as it is to use the r12 subsitute. But if you dont mind paying the price it is available. I hope this helps you, if you need more info just let me know. Regards, Keith.
