Question
Just bought a 1999 Chevrolet Cavalier, pulled wheels and it has new brake pads, shoes, springs all around. Problem is that when you hit the brake pedal you feel the rear of the car go down as if the rear brakes are grabbing before or more than the front ones.  Could this be a problem with the master cylinder or ABS?
Thanks George

Answer
Hi George, if there is a problem in the ABS, The ABS light would be on. Check you brake drums to see if they are worn outside the specs, also check to see if you have a wheel cylinder leaking. I hope this helps you, if you need more info, just let me know. Regards, Keith.
