Question
My wife has a 2003 chevy cavalier we drove it 30 miles to our local wal mart did our shopping and drove it 30 miles home. it stayed parked for about half an hour when i went to start it it would not start it would turn over and try to ideal but would die out right away if i feathered the pedal in and out it would try but not catch like it was being starved for fuel. it has been below zero here for about the past two weeks and my wife said that it hard starts in the morning when she goes to work but has never not started. any help will be a blessing

Answer
Jonathan;
Hi wow thats cold, It might be the intake or the fuel filter, or it could also be from the cold or water in the fuel. I would   throw  two cans of dry gas into the gas tank  and you can spray some starting fluid into the intake and see if it will start up, but if it is that cold you should keep dry gas in the fuel all the time.

I can help you with most standard type things from 1955 chevys up to around 1975 (1975)>> chevys in differnt areas. engine work heads-cams-trannys-drive train-brakes-some elect. dos and donts. PS UP TO 1975 !! !!!!!!!!!!! I will try with any others after that date. state up to 1975 but I still get 2006-007 etc. I guess you do not read this far ! !

Experience

All i can remember growing up is working on cars and making them loud and fast , and when i started to make money i would sink all of it into my cars so i could get them to go faster and look great. what else is there !I would love a challange to trouble shoot, as it is fun finding what is wrong when all others can not .ON the older cars not past 1975s , etc. so please I will try to help with the newer cars but do not grade me bad if I can not help your 2006 car.etc.
