Question
I have a 1993 chevy cavilier and am trying to do an oil change.  We can't seem to find the oil filter anywhere.  We put the car up on small lifts to do the change and can't seem to find it anywhere; looking from underneath or above.  It doesn't seem to show where it is in the owners manual either.  Can you help?

Answer
Hi Carrie. if your car has a four cylinder engine the oil filter is located behind the engine just above the transmission closer to the right side. If your car has a six cylinder engine the oil filter is located on the front of the engine on the right side. I hope this helps you, if you need more info just let me know. Regards, Keith.
