Question
hi, i just purchased a 70 chevelle. it's a malibu that someone tried to clone. i'm an amateur when it comes to mechanics and i've had know luck with questions about maintanance seeing how the car is 36 yrs. old. i know the car has a bad cam shaft and needs to be replaced. problem is, i'm no mechanic and i don't know what size the block is. i also have drum brakes on all four wheels and would love to know how to convert the front end into disc. i'm 19 and desperate for help, so i need professional help, can you help me out? (i'm an amateur who knows only how to change oil and rotate tires, so if u explain something, you'll have to brake it down!) thanks,

Hea- well its a good year. is it a big block or small block ? can you get me the motor ID #s. I think you should get a tech. book for that year car- it will help you 10 times over. as far as the cam you must think of what type of a motor you wish to have . You can get a change over kit for the brakes,  there are a lot of them out there.

I can help you with most standard type things from 1955 chevys up to around 1975 (1975)>> chevys in differnt areas. engine work heads-cams-trannys-drive train-brakes-some elect. dos and donts. PS UP TO 1975 !! !!!!!!!!!!! I will try with any others after that date. state up to 1975 but I still get 2006-007 etc. I guess you do not read this far ! !

Experience

All i can remember growing up is working on cars and making them loud and fast , and when i started to make money i would sink all of it into my cars so i could get them to go faster and look great. what else is there !I would love a challange to trouble shoot, as it is fun finding what is wrong when all others can not .ON the older cars not past 1975s , etc. so please I will try to help with the newer cars but do not grade me bad if I can not help your 2006 car.etc.
