i know this is not in your expertise but maybe you could answer anyway.  i was told that if the torque screws are loose it will make you motor sound like it is going to throw a rod and it will also cause you are to lose power.  i know i'm a woman but i am not going to take this lying down.  i need someone to tell me the truth.  thanks

Not sure what the torque screws are. Possibly the torque converter bolts? That wouldn't affect anything besides giving you a rattle.

If you suspect that you might have spun a rod bearing you can attach an oil pressure guage to see if the oil psi is below normal.
