This 1991 vette 6 speed manual trans sits more than drivin.. sept. this fall it ran 10 mins. yesterday after being on the charger for 1 hr, it started and ran 20 sec. stalled. we cant make it fire let alone even try to fire.. full of gas and battery cranks fine. Is it in a theft system or door switch, clutch switch. brake switch, or what? this is the first time in 15 yrs its never started.I have disconnected the battery and let it set 10 mins hooked it back up truned the key waited 30 sec then cranked still nothing.. I am very mech. inclined and have work on 100s of cars and trucks. So hit me and wake me up. thanks mitch

Could be a number of things if its not driven very much.

First off, how old is the gas in the tank?

Check the fuel psi when it stalls. Could be a dying fuel pump or clogged fuel filter.

Pull one of the plugs out after it stalls and check what colour it is. If its black or wet, its running rich meaning its an ignition issue. If its whitish...its a fuel issue.
