Question
I am trying to narrow down an electical problem.  I just got my car back from a new tranny install.  when i picked it up it started no prob.  after the car ran and drove for 1/2 hour i shut it off and tried to restart it and had no luck.  when i turn the ignition the starter does not engage.  No clicking, no response at all.  I have a new battery and i a wondering if this is a solenoid issue or something else.
thank you ryan.

Answer
HI
Ryan, If you just had it fixed, I would turn around and take it right back to the place that did it. I would first check the battery and term. to be sure it is good and has a charge.  Than the starter motor , solenoid and wires, but if you  just got it back from the tranny shop, take it right back as they could have done something. ok let them fix it and you should not have to pay if thay did it.
and it might just have a dead battery .

PS UP TO 1975 !! !!!!!!!!!!! I will try with any others after that date. state up to 1975 but I still get 2006-007 etc. I guess you do not read this far ! !

Experience

All i can remember growing up is working on cars and making them loud and fast , and when i started to make money i would sink all of it into my cars so i could get them to go faster and look great. what else is there !I would love a challange to trouble shoot, as it is fun finding what is wrong when all others can not .ON the older cars not past 1975s , etc. so please I will try to help with the newer cars but do not grade me bad if I can not help your 2006 car.etc.
