3.8L V-6 OHC BUICK OLDS LONG BLOCK VIN 3

What does OHC mean. I have a boat and the guy I bought it from said it has a buick 1986 3.8 in it Trying too see if That engine will work.

OHC= OVER HEAD CAM. Unlike the regular 3.8L V6 with the cam in the block, this motor supposedly has the cam in the head.

I've never heard of that. I know the Buicks had cams in the block for 1986 unless this is strictly a boat motor and not from a car at all.
