Question
I have a 1996 Chevrolet Camaro Z28. I was wondering how often do I have to change the spark plugs and spark plug wires. I bought the vehicle used at 93,000 miles and have no idea when the last tune up was performed. Thank you.

Answer
Hi ya Joseph!Hope you had a gr8 day!
I recommend an inspection and cleaning of plugs every 6 months, and replacement every year.
Wires can last 2-3 years but I do them every year myself.
Heat can build up and destroy the outter lining and cause all kinds of hidden probs.
I would also look at the EGR(Exhaust Gas Recircualtion) valve to make sure thats its clean too.
If you need to know more about keeping that car pristine.... just call.. Im always here.
