Question
i was wondering if you might know where the governor. chip is located and the procedure to uninstall it on a 1994 c1500 350 5.7 extra cab 2wd. i appreciate your time. thank you.

Answer
Chris;
Hea well first off as stated I only do the 55 to 75 chevys , but how do you know your chip is bad ? did you run it on the computer? as a lot of governor chips plop out at high speeds, if thats your trouble I would say get a hi performance one ,it will run better and get up to speed faster and cruse at a higher speed. as far as its location it should be next to the intake with wires going to it, but the best thing to do is stop off at the local library and look up in the tech books as it should show you photos of it and give you all of the info. I would suggest a high performance chip for your  94 if you need a bit more pep and get up.  ok I wish I could have helped you more, if you have a 69 chevy with a 396 in it I can help you out all the way. well MERRY CHRISTMAS

I can help you with most standard type things from 1955 chevys up to around 1975 (1975)>> chevys in differnt areas. engine work heads-cams-trannys-drive train-brakes-some elect. dos and donts. PS UP TO 1975 !! !!!!!!!!!!! I will try with any others after that date. state up to 1975 but I still get 2006-007 etc. I guess you do not read this far ! !

Experience

All i can remember growing up is working on cars and making them loud and fast , and when i started to make money i would sink all of it into my cars so i could get them to go faster and look great. what else is there !I would love a challange to trouble shoot, as it is fun finding what is wrong when all others can not .ON the older cars not past 1975s , etc. so please I will try to help with the newer cars but do not grade me bad if I can not help your 2006 car.etc.
