Question
My buddy and I have replaced a clutch on a chevy caviler {1989, 2.8L, Hydro clutch}. But we are having a hell of a time boltin' it back up!
   
   So my ? is do you have any suggestions?  We have the block hung and the tranny on a jack. the main problem is that we can't get the half shaft and the spline in tranny to line up at the same time, and when we do it doesn't completely go together. There is nothing interfering that we can see. It sucks!!! What do ya have for me.

      I know what you are going threw and you can try from now till next year and it will still not go, first you will have to take it all apart again  you will also have to buy or rent , borrow a spline tool or clutch instalation tool they are cheep if you must buy one. than once the spline is aligned it will line up easy , and when pushing the tranny back in you must keep it up do not let it go in than hang as it can move the clutch out of place than you might have to re do it all over again.
