I have a Prestige remote starter for a 1995 Chevy Monte Carlo. Some how the thing is messed up, and instead of starting the car, the button opens the trunk. Do you know how, or know someone who knows how, to reset this options. I would appreciate a response. Thanks!!

Hi Charlie, I have never worked on remote starters, But the programming instructions should be in the manuel. Or you may find them on the remote manufacturers website, Im not sure but i think the prestige remotes are made by Audiovox, you could check there. I hope this will help you. Regards, Keith.
