Question
i haad a rebuilt starter put in a while ago. Everything worked well/ Then my battery went dead, so I bought a new one and after installing the battery , the car would not start. I boosted it but all I get is a clicking sound and I think maybe its the selenoid switch . Is that hard to replace.  I can't do this myself , but I don't want to ripped off either . Can you help me ?

Answer
Eddie;
I wonder if the battery is dead, did they put a charge on it prior to givin it to you ?  I would get a set of jumpers, see if it starts if it does, let it run for 10-15 min than go for a 15 min drive and if you can put a volt meeter on it when running cause if you are putting out under 13+  thats bad. also check the battery term. ends they must be clean and the one on the starter and the one on the bloac they all must be clean or the circut will not be complete. ok p.s. is is in the right way right red to pos+...>>

Experience

All i can remember growing up is working on cars and making them loud and fast , and when i started to make money i would sink all of it into my cars so i could get them to go faster and look great. what else is there !I would love a challange to trouble shoot, as it is fun finding what is wrong when all others can not .ON the older cars not past 1975s , etc. so please I will try to help with the newer cars but do not grade me bad if I can not help your 2006 car.etc.
