Question -
My light is stuck on and my transmission is now shifting hard after we tried to hook up an amplifier and subwolfer. Wondered if you knew where I can find the answer on how to fix it. I bought a repair manual but it doesnt say anything about it. Thanks

 HI - what light ?
 I do not see how hooking up a amp. and sub. woof. would do anything to the tranny. what did you hook it up to for power ?
I would check the tranny fluid  ASAP..>>>
I would also look to see if any fuses are blown out.  where did you try to get the power from for the amp .?

The trac off light is on in my dash. Wasnt sure that hooking up the amp would do it, but no problem until then. We hooked it up to the battery. Already checked the fuses, they are all fine. But I drove the car before the amp was hooked up and it drove fine, didnt shift hard. After it was hooked up I drove it down the road and had to come back because it was shifting so hard. Any help I would appreciate since we cant seem to find a manual to fix it. Thanks

 Hi - I only do cars up to the late 70s but I think you have a switch on some place , do you have the owners  manual - if so look up the trac switch. I think that you have it in the on setting and it will cause the tranny hard shifting. is there a button on / or in the wiper switch or blinker switch -check to see if it is on - ok
