Chevrolet Repair/1988 Pickup Fuel Problem

Question
I have a 88 chevey pickup with a 350. The truck was running great last night but when I went out to start it this morning no luck. I checked the truck over and came to the conclusion that it was not getting fuel. I replaced the fuel pump and checked all the fuses but still no fuel. The truck has a throttle body which I must confess I know nothing about. Have you any sugestions?

Thanks Mike

Answer
Hi Mike, I would now test for power at the fuel pump. The gray wire is the power wire for this pump. There should be power there for 2-3 seconds after you turn on the key. The fuel pump is the most likely problem but you might have a wiring problem on this one. You may need to get a wiring diagram to help you figure this out.
