Question
I am trying to find where the ground lead from the fuel pump terminates.  I have the GM service manuals (S-9310-N-1 & -2) but they don't go into enough detail and don't contain a schematic to give me the G### so I can find the termination point in the illustrations.  I only have 8.5V to the fuel pump and the positive side from the relay to the pump checks out OK.  Thanks for your help.

Answer
Hi Marc, somewhere between the relay and the fuel pump you have a green wire (corroded). You should test the gray wire to the fuel pump at different points to locate the area that has corroded. Now repair the the spot that has the problem.

Let me know how you make out
