Question
The 4x4 quit working on out 94 S10. When I pushed the button nothing would happen.  I then replaced the transfer case motor. Now 4x4 light will flash for a few seconds and that is it.  I then purchased and installed a control module and it is still doing the same thing.  Do you have any other suggestions?  Thanks

Answer
Hi Jeff.... does the actuator engauge when you push the button, you should be able to hear it shift. if not check the connection. did you replace the actuator with a new one. if you did and still not working look for a bad ground. check to see if you are getting power at the transfer case actuator, try tapping it when you push the button as they sometimes will stick. if actiator is ok try unpluging it and put 12volts to the power side of it. if it shifts then look for an open in the circut from the module to the actuator. hope this helps
