Question
Hello,
1) My 1994 GMC Sonoma (high output 4.3 vortec) auto transmission hesitates when I shift it into reverse. The fluid appears to be clean, changed it about 10k ago. Any idea what the problem is?
2)My hi beam headlights(and indicator) do not work, works only on lo beams, the bulbs are fine and so is the fuse? Would it be the turn signal switch?

Thanks!

Answer
Hi Ted, if the trans has a delay going into rev from park or drive then there is a problem inside the trans like a bad seal or O ring. This might not ever be a problem so I would just wait on this repair. Cost to do a trans overhaul is around $1800. The other problem is your hi beam switch or it is out of adjustment. If you here it click then it is the switch.

Hope this helps
