Expertise
I have been maintaining a fleet of approximately 55 light, medium and heavy vehicles for over 20 years. Most are 4X4 pickups and off road fire fighting trucks. Some medium duty trucks. Some military light trucks. I can answer most questions concerning 4X4 engine, drive line, suspension, electrical, and fuel, both diesel and gasoline. Ford, GM, and Dodge, old and new, but prefferably not newer than 99.

Chevrolet Repair - 1994 s10 blazer 4x4

Question
I have a 1994 S10 Blazer 4.3 liter v6 vortec engine. 2 questions, first - My gas gauge on the inside reads off by at least half a tank, I just replaced my fuel pump and filter and figured that would of solved my problem but it didn't. And Oh, I have a digital dash.
Second question - I just had the corner of my bumber bent and my two front lights ( park light and blinker light ) were busted in the process. I replaced them both and now my turn signal still blinks like I have a burnt out bulb. The dash ( when the head lights or park lights are on ) has the turn signal arrow still on. Why?  Please help me with these two annoying issues. Thanks

Answer
Hello Ryan,
In the fuel tank unit, the pump, and the gauge sender are two separate things.
If you didn't replace them both, then you might need a sender.
If in the replacement both parts were replaced, then you need to look elsewhere, but I have no experience with a digital instrument cluster at all.
In most Chilton and Motors manuals, there is a section on troubleshooting instruments, though. If you don't have a book, go to the public library, refference section, and read one. You can copy the pages you need.

As for the light, when they were replaced, the ground wire wasn't connected correctly, or the bulb is in wrong.
