Question
I have a 96 blazer 4L, and the push button 4w drive stopped working. They still light up when I start the engine and the fuse is still good.
The plunger was changed 18 months ago and it has been working great till We got 2 ft. of snow last week.
Hope You can help.. Thanx Rob

Answer
Hi Rob, The most common thing with this model is the encoder motor. This is the part that does the shifting on the transfer case. I would try disconnecting the battery for a minute and see if your 4 wheel then works. If it does and goes out again i would replace the encoder motor.
