the gear shit lever is extremely hard to engage or to put in gear can you possibly help me it is a column shift

Hello Kenneth, There are 2 spots to lube for this. One is at the steering column where the shifter connects to the cable. Lube the pivot there and work the shifter. You can see this by looking through the opening at the bottom of the column where it tilts up and down. The other is where the cable connects to the transmission. Lube the shaft that goes into the trans and work the shifter.
