Question
My S10 Head lights and running lights shut off tonight. Could not turn them back on even in manual. ohmed out bulbs looks good. Did a voltage check at electrical socket had 14 volts dc on each side to ground on frame but no voltage from the socket prongs to each other. swapped out drl relay, no luck. do you have any other ideas on why the head lights and daytime running lts do not work. Your help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks, Rob

Answer
Hi Rob... do the lights work on high beam... if not was the drl you replaced a known good one. if it was , check the headlight switch. also if high beams do work try new bulbs...i had a car in yesterday that the alt had spiked and had same problem. it ended up being that it blew both low beam bulbs....hope this helps
