Question
Mark, several Mechanics have looked at my problem, vibration , engine steering wheel vibrates in drive or park, cold or warm, removed engine cover vibration is felt when touching engine and holding a fixed part on engine.symtom occurred instantaneously.it was fine and then the vibration i noticed when gripping the steering wheel,The "mechanic" changed coil, wires, cap, rotor, problem still there.has good performance ,no check engine light comes on.He used  a snap on code reader NOTHING wrong he said by the code read out. What do i do? Thanks, Vito

Answer
Hi Vito, The first thing you need to do is inspect the engine motor mounts and the transmission mount. It sound to me like one has gone bad causing this vibration. The engine needs to beable to move and if one of the mounts is bad it will be almost like metal to metal.

Also check the clutch fan to make sure it spins freely. I have seen these go bad and get way out of balance, this could also cause a vibration.

Let me know what you find

Have a Nice Day    Mark
