i have a 93 caprice classic in which i changed the engine,with a 91 of the same type vehjcle both came with the 305 engine. my problem is that after installing everything and hooking up the harness wires all plugs dont match up including the distributer plugs are the harnesses different and or the distributers. thank you.

HI James... yes sensors and dist may be differant...use the ones from your old engine, if you suspect some are bad replace them, make sure when changing the dist. that you put new one in the same place you took out the old one. use cap and rotor from old engine...hope this helps
