truck stuck in overdrive-does not stall-engine is a 4.3 vortec engine & trans is automatic w/ overdrive. also a question about the digital instrument cluster-not working speedomter was but now that isn't either. checked fuses,wiring and replaced w/ a used cluster but still doesn't work.

Hi Dawn.... check the speedo pick up at the trans...if tcc stuck on try disconnecting the connection for it at the trans. check for a short to ground in the circut also check across the solenoid for a closed circut. if closed when diconnected solenoid is bad. hope this helps
