Question
Mr. Summers,

Suddenly, my truck will not start.  Everything has been working fine.  Initial investigation reveals no fuel getting to the carburetor.  Not sure where to start.  Fuel cap, fuel filter, fuel pump relay, fuel injectors, fuel tank pressure sensor . . .

Any help would be deeply appreciated.

Thanks,

Lee Coate

Answer
Hi Lee... check to see if fuel pump comes on for 3 seconds when you turn key on...if not check for power at the pump when you turn key on...if none check at the fuel pump relay..if none there change the relay...if you have power in and out of the relay and power at the pump and it still doesn't come on change the pump in the tank...make sure before you start any of this that your fuel pump fuse is good and you have power on both sides of the fuse...hope this helps
