Question
I have a 1991 c1500 and the stock 305 needs rebuilt, instead of this I've decided to upgrade to the 350.  The new motor comes with all accessories and intake and throddle body (a/c compressor, alternator, pwr steering pump, etc.) But I've been reading up on this swap and it looks like I need to maybe be worried about my ecm or PROM or fuel pump which is on the old truck.  Any suggestions on any of this would be great.  Thanks.

Answer
Hi Jamie.... if you transfer everything from you engine to the new one you should be ok...if you are worried about fuel system as long as they are both the same they should be ok... if not you may need to transfer your intake to the new engine...check all the plug connections if they are the same you are ok...if worried  about computer you can use the one from truck that 350 came out of...hope this helps
