2004 Chevy z71 5.3l. Truck turns over starts for two seconds then shuts off. Key comes up as unknown in dash, remote for doors does not work. Dome light does not work. Inside locks do not work. Checked all the fuses and appear to be OK. The fuse grid that I have does not show all fuses.

Hi Kristie... sounds like you have a chip problem in the key...in the GM passlock 2 antitheft system the truck will not stay running if it doesn't recognize the key...is the key damaged or is it the right key for the truck....you may have to take into the dealer if it is the right key and still won't recognize it....there are 2 fuse panels in that truck...one under the hood and one inside....hope this helps
