Question
Hi! I recently lost the dash lights in my car& tonite I was stopped by someone who advised me that my rear lights were totally out.I took my car to a Napa dealer today that checked my fuses & He says they are all fine. Thank You, Linda

Answer
Hi Linda.... it could be a couple of differant things...if fuses are good, check the tail light bulbs...if they are ok check the headlight switch...take a test light and test the wires on the plug on the back of the switch...when switch is off you should have power going into the switch...large red wire...when you turn switch on you should have power on everyother wire but the black (ground)...make sure ground is ok as well...if you have wires that have no power on them when you turn on switch, i would suspect switch is bad....i you have power on all the wires and still no lights you may have to trace the wires from the tail lights back to the switch for an open in the circut (wire broke somewhere) same goes for dash lights....hope this helps...
